I believe every home deserves its own unique style, and that style is a reflection of those who live in it.

Even before owning my first home, I dreamed of creating spaces that felt warm, welcoming, and full of personality. In 2004, when my husband and I moved into our first home, I finally had the canvas to bring my ideas to life. Designing and decorating each room was pure joy — and when it was time to remodel, I loved starting fresh all over again!

We quickly became avid DIYers, learning how to transform spaces while staying frugal and intentional with every design decision. Our philosophy? A beautiful home doesn’t have to break the bank.

As our family grew, so did our love for this home. While others might have chosen to move to something bigger or newer, we decided to stay. Instead of chasing the next house, we turned the one we had into the home we truly loved.

Along the way, I discovered my greatest source of inspiration: color. The right palette doesn’t just transform a room — it transforms how you feel in that space. That passion led me to take a leap of faith in 2018 and launch Color Joy Interiors.


Since then, my mission has been simple: to help women like you design homes that inspire joy, reflect your personality, and feel effortlessly beautiful — all without overspending or overcomplicating the process.

Through my signature Color Joy Method, I provide the tools, guidance, and confidence you need to create your dream space. Whether you’re tackling a full renovation or just looking for a refresh, I’m here to make it easy, fun, and oh-so-rewarding.

I’m a proud mom of two teen girls and firmly believe that a well-loved home is the best foundation for family memories. My favorite thing is decorating for the seasons and holidays.

My husband Jason and I are a DIY team — from painting walls to building furniture! I'm not the best at power tools but I try, and he leaves the design choices to me.


I’m obsessed with finding budget-friendly ways to achieve high-end style (I've got a coupon for that!) It makes decorating and designing more fun and challenging.
